Christine is a highly qualified registered nurse with extensive experience in travel medicine and public health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Messiah University in Pennsylvania in 2009 and has dedicated over a decade to this field. As the founder and leader of Amani Travel Clinic, Christine brings a deep understanding of travel health and patient care. She is certified in Travel Medicine by the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM), reflecting her advanced knowledge and commitment to excellence. Christine leads the Amani Travel Clinic team with insight and dedication, fostering a collaborative environment focused on supporting patient health goals. Her vision and leadership have been instrumental in building a thriving clinic committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Dr. Thomson is the highly respected Medical Director of Amani Travel Clinic. In this role, he oversees the clinic’s medical operations, ensuring adherence to current standards of care while supporting and guiding the nursing and administrative team. Dr. Thomson provides clinical oversight and is responsible for ordering necessary testing and follow-ups to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. His expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence help ensure patients receive high-quality, evidence-based travel health advice.

Dr. Din is a dedicated panel physician at our Prince George location, specializing in immigration medical examinations. He ensures all assessments meet required standards for immigration health screenings, providing patients with confidence in a thorough and professional evaluation. His attention to detail and expertise in immigration medicine make him an essential part of our team, supporting individuals through the medical requirements of their immigration process.

Dr. Hiscock is a family physician who relocated to Canada from South Africa with her family in 2021. She initially practised in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, before moving to Kelowna in early 2025. Dr. Hiscock currently works in family practice in Kelowna and with Amani Medical Clinic in Vernon, BC, where she provides immigration medical examinations, driver’s medical examinations, and occupational health assessments. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Hiscock enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the natural beauty of the Okanagan, and staying active through the region’s many outdoor sports and recreational activities.

Dr. Aburahess is a dedicated family physician fully licensed to practice in British Columbia and currently working in Fort St. John, BC. He graduated from Elmergib University, Libya, in 2006 and has since developed extensive experience in both family and emergency medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Aburahess has an academic background with published research focusing on the mechanisms of cancer angiogenesis and its potential therapeutic implications. Dr. Aburahess provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on acute and chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and the management of complex medical cases. He also has a special interest in travel medicine and immigration health assessments. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence while supporting patients through compassionate and evidence-based care.

Kyla is a dedicated nursing professional with over a decade of diverse experience in acute care, perioperative nursing, and clinic leadership. After earning her LPN diploma in 2012, she spent six years on medical-surgical units, building a strong foundation in patient care. She later completed her Perioperative Nursing Certificate from MacEwan University in 2019 and worked in the Operating Room for four years. In 2023, Kyla joined Amani Travel Clinic, where she quickly advanced from clinic LPN to Director of Business Operations and Nursing Supervisor. In this role, she combines her clinical expertise with leadership and business strategy to oversee daily operations and support both patients and staff. Kyla is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality care, mentoring nurses, and improving systems to enhance efficiency and the client experience.

Felisha is the Office Manager at Amani Travel Health Clinic, where she supports daily operations and helps drive efficient, well-organized clinic systems. She plays a key role in streamlining workflows and enhancing the overall patient and staff experience. With a background in Computer Information Systems and ongoing studies in Computer Science, she brings a strong focus on systems, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
